PROGRAM EXPIRES 10/1/2023. We will provide updates to the program later this year.

The program totals 6 CEUs and is broken into three different courses:

Orbital Epidural Anatomy offers an in-depth review of orbital anatomy and how it relates to performing different ophthalmic blocks. The lesson includes a custom 3D eye model so that practitioners can see each virtual layer, all of the nerves and veins, and get a much better visual understanding of where to place the needle for the most effective block on each patient.

Pharmacology for Ophthalmic Anesthesia offers an in-depth review of pharmacology for ophthalmic blocks. By breaking down the different pharmacologic agents and discussing their application in ophthalmic blocks, participants will feel more confident in choosing the anesthetic and needle that is best for them allowing the practitioner to provide better care to the patients.

Orbital Block Techniques offers a deep dive into each of the orbital block techniques and teaches the pros and cons of retrobulbar, peribulbar, sub-tenon, and orbicularis blocks.  Additionally, the course teaches a new block created by Randy Harvey that is based on a geometrical approach to the Gills-Lloyd block technique.
